Since 2010 INPROBOIS has decided to embark on the path of legality and sustainability to
meet the needs of international markets. In a difficult national context, this commitment could not
really start until the beginning of 2011 with the recruitment of firm
specializing in supporting private companies willing to commit to certification of their activities.

To ensure continued access to U.S. and European markets which implement more and more stringent regulations
(Lacey Act in the U.S. and Timber Regulations of the European Union in Europe)
INPROBOIS has decided to set up an action plan developed by TEREA, to enable it to
prove the legality of its activities.

To achieve this objectif, significant steps have been taken:

• an OLB certification pre-audit was conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification in October 2013;
• the certification audit was conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification in July 2014;
• the OLB certificate for the traceability of its production of peeled veneer was awarded to INPROBOIS on 30/09/2014 and the one for the legality of the logging activities in the 14 forest areas allocated to INPROBOIS was awarded on 08/10/2014.
